A farmer’s cooperative, we are engaged all over Europe in plant breeding, seed production, specialised agriculture and the processing and distribution of agricultural products. SAATBAU LINZ is owned by farmers and is organised as an agricultural cooperative with the corresponding knowledge about agricultural operations as well as the natural and structural circumstances. By continuously adapting to the requirements of the market, we aimto produce the greatest possible benefit for our custumers, the cooperative, its owners and employees. Our customers value our reliability and individual advice. Our experts have extensive experience in and an indepth understanding of agriculture.

One of our central concerns is to consciously use our natural resources. In order to achieve our goals, we work with recognised quality management systems. Thereby, we ensure product characteristics at the highest level along the entire value chain from our suppliers all the way to our customers. Plant breeding has been our passion for 60 years, which is at the same time a commitment to produce the highest possible quality. In numerous projects in the field of contract farming we organise a transparent contract chain from the farmers to the respective processors with the objective of ensuring the supply of agricultural raw materials to the food and feed sector. At the heart of this endeavour is our aim to achieve an optimum balance of interests between the customers and the farmers. For us, documented safety and transparency from the seed to the plate is more than just a phrase, it is our commitment.
