Led by the realisation, that only a strongly managed joint organisation can help face the challenges that lie ahead, the five regional seed cooperatives were consolidated to form one single Upper Austrian seed cooperative.
This was the mission statement which layed the foundation stone of SAATBAU Linz back in 1950. Today, about 3,000 Austrian farmers are members of the cooperative and owners of the undertaking. The cooperative structure is a solid basis allowing flexible action, in accordance with the current requirements and oriented towards the future. The trust of our members, the competence and determination of our board of directors and the management as well as the motivation and expertise of our employees – these are the pillars of the performance of SAATBAU LINZ.
