MIRA

  • excellent rotting
  • suitable for mulch sowing
  • neutral to nematodes
  • frost-sensitive

Description

The Phacelia variety MIRA is very fast-growing and very effective in weed suppression. It produces large quantities of green mass in a short time, even in dry areas. The intensive hair-root system in the upper soil layers ensures good digestion of the soil nutrients. It belongs to the waterleaf plant family and is not related to any of the common crops in Central Europe. It is an ideal frost-sensitive catch crop. Phacelia enhances soil life, mellows up soils and is a valuable bee pasture.
