Description

SERRANO is an outstanding variety from Austrian breeding in the mid-early to mid-late maturity range. It outperforms the standard varieties in grain, silage or biogas trials. It impresses with its good agronomical profile marked by fast early vigour, high plant height, best scores regarding breakage, good lodging resistance and low to medium ear placement. Alongside a nice stay green, SERRANO excels regarding the high resistance against NCLB.
