Description

HELESUN SU is a hybrid characterised by its medium to early maturity. HELESUN shows a very nice head position, a very homogeneous phenotype combined with very good agronomy. Its short growth type is associated with excellent lodging resistance – both important quality assuring criteria. The resistances to the relevant diseases Phoma, Botrytis and Sclerotina are good, broomrape resistance includes the races A-D. Furthermore, it is resistant to Plasmopara race 730. *This sunflower hybrid exhibits a resistance to the sulfonylurea herbicide Tribernuron-methyl. The use of other sulfonylurea -herbicides is not recommended and shall take place at your own risk.
