Description

GRAF is a promising hybrid variety which delivers its high grain and oil yields both under dry and humid growing conditions and over several years. This makes GRAF a suitable variety for all production areas all over Europe, from Poland to Ukraine. In addition to its high yield performance, its extremely fast and strong early vigour is one of its most outstanding characteristics. Due to its good growth, a shortening is recommended. GRAF is among the best to combine little winter damage and strong regeneration in the spring and starts shooting and flowering very early. GRAF matures early to medium range, it is very stress tolerant and thanks to its early flowering and consequently early grain filling it offers highest yield security. In terms of disease resistance, the combination of good and high resistances to the relevant diseases Sclerotinia and Phoma (rlm7) is remarkable.
