ALVESTA was bred in Austria and ranks at the top of the 00 maturity group. It shows a balanced ratio of medium protein and medium oil content. ALVESTA combines good drought resistance and high resistance to pod shattering, which both ensure good yields. Its fast early vigor and very good lodging resistance despite a longer growth type are agronomical advantages. With its light hilum color, ALVESTA is ideally suited as a food grade soybean.
