MERLIN is characterized by very early maturity and has been delivering stable and high yields, even in unfavourable locations since 1997. Fast early vigour and good disease resistances help the good yield performance in the typical 000-regions. Medium lodging resistance despite a longer growth type and medium high resistance to pod shattering round off the characteristic profile of MERLIN.
