  • high yielding wheat for feed and bioethanol production
  • medium plant height, good lodging resistance
  • medium-late maturity
  • large grain

Description

TONNAGE is a very high yielding non-awned wheat variety for feed and bioethanol production which really lives up to its name. The enormous yields result from the large grain (high TGW) and the high number of kernel/ear. TONNAGE is characterised by a medium plant height and very good lodging resistance. The profile is completed by excellent resistances against powdery mildew, yellow rust and Septoria tritici. It belongs to the medium-late maturity group. Intensive crop management is rewarded with top yields.
