FAUNUS

  • high yield potential
  • highest plant density
  • very good winter hardiness
  • high TGW

Description

FAUNUS is a non-awned milling wheat with a high yield potential. It is especially suitable for humid areas and the medium maturity range. FAUNUS impresses with highest plant densities, even under unfavourable weather conditions and ensures quality through a high falling number and good resistance to sprouting. The short to medium plant height combined with very good lodging resistance and the very good winter hardiness are further advantages. In terms of quality, FAUNUS produces large grains with a high specific weight. The resistances to the relevant diseases powdery mildew, brown rust and fusarium head blight are good and balanced, especially the resistance to yellow rust is well developed.
