  • high grain yield across all production areas
  • remarkable quality
  • medium late maturity
  • short plant height, very good lodging resistance

Description

LENTIA impresses with remarkable grain yields across all production areas and belongs to the medium-late maturity range. It outperforms all 2-row and 6-row reference varieties in dry areas regarding grain and protein yield, as well as yield with a screening value >2,5 mm. In humid area cultivation it also performs better than all other 2-row varieties. In terms of quality, LENTIA is also in the top group with a well developed grain and medium specific weight. Its straight ear is visually appealing. The short plant height combined with good lodging resistance round off the excellent profile of this variety. On the basis of its environmental stability it was attributed the KLIMAFIT label.
