AMICUS

  • very high yield potential in dry areas
  • excellent lodging resistance
  • very early heading and maturity
  • very good drought resistance

Description

AMICUS is a high yielding non-awned milling wheat in the early maturity range, suitable in dry areas. Very early heading and maturity are adventgeous in dry years and make AMICUS a drought resistant variety. Agronomically speaking, the very short plant height in combination with excellent lodging resistance are favourable characteristics for intensive crop management. In terms of grain quality, AMICUS achieves a high specific weight and a high TGW. With regard to resistances, AMICUS shows good and balanced resistance against most of the relevant diseases such as brown rust, yellow rust, fusarium head blight and powdery mildew. Thanks to its high environmental stability, AMICUS was awarded our KLIMAFIT label.
