Description

LIGATO is a triple-use variety from the early to mid-early maturity range. It can be used as grain, silage or biogas maize variety and achieves good and stable fresh and dry matter as well as grain yields. LIGATO is well suited for colder conditions in Northern Europe thanks to top rankings regarding early vigour combined with excellent cold tolerance. Despite its impressive plant height, there is only little breakage and its lodging resistance is good. Its very high resistance to common smut and very good resistance to stalk rot are also deserve an extra mention.
